ECHO makes powerful tools that inspire the extraordinary work happening all around us - from the remote wilderness, urban jungles, in national parks, at natural disasters areas or sixty feet up in the canopy. These are more than just a casual user; these are the everyday ECHO pro heroes who are passionate and dedicated to their work. But what do they do when they are not doing their job they love? We heard their unique stories and want it to share with you.
El Leñero (The Woodcutter)
ECHO PresentsSince the early 1800’s, generations of Leñeros have been protecting the Carson National Forest, New Mexico, from fire. Today, this honored tradition is taken up by Alex Lopez and his fellow Leñero’s who maintain countless acres. Through an almost spiritual connection to the land, Alex hopes his efforts will inspire the next generation of Leñeros, saving this small piece of the world.
climbing to the top
ECHO PresentsBeing an arborist is already an interesting job. Being a high-flying, chainsaw-wielding, rope-swinging, fast-talking, tree-beautifying female boss with the goal to never cut down trees is what makes Alisha Amundson a bit more interesting than most. She is different – in a good way – and that’s what makes her story so compelling.
the path less taken
ECHO PresentsECHO products are made for people who blaze their own trail. For Alex Carey, the obvious path was sitting right there. College, a degree, an internship, an office job, a 401K and a comfortable life. But he chose the landscaping life. Or more accurately, it chose him.
made in america
ECHO PresentsWhen Ruben Diaz Sr. immigrated from Durango, Mexico in the 1970s, he was seeking a new life. Not because he wanted to leave Mexico behind, but because he knew he could do more in the United States by providing better opportunities for his family.
Real Heroes Cut Grass
ECHO PresentsBrian Schwartz, just like many people was faced with challenges during an unexpected year in 2020. Millions of Americans were forced to adjust after losing their jobs.
