ECHO Announces Expansion of Hand Tools with Line of Axes
February 21, 2019ECHO announces the addition of axes to its hand tool line-up with the new HA-1000 Series.
The HA-1000 Series offers quality, durability and affordability in 3 versatile axe options and 1 splitting maul. The new lineup includes a 14-inch hatchet, 28-inch limbing axe, 36-inch felling axe, 36-inch splitting maul as well as a splitting wedge.
Each aspect of ECHO’s newest hand tools are quality from the top down. The durable high carbon content steel is heat treated and tempered which improves toughness and helps maintain a sharp cutting edge. All ECHO axes are forged to be slightly thicker just behind the cutting edge to enhance performance while cutting through limbs and for splitting.
The quality hickory handles provide strength while naturally dissipating shock. Each axe handle is finely crafted for a comfortable, ergonomic, and secure grip to help the user in guiding the axe head straight into the cut. Special consideration has also been taken to ensure the proper ratio between the cutting head weight as it relates to the handle length. The combination of cutting head design, handle type and balance provide unparalleled cutting performance and comfort.
“A really good quality axe is essential in every professional landscaper tool arsenal. We’ve put together a line-up of great quality axes, with excellent cutting characteristics, while still making them affordable. We wanted to ensure every attribute of our new axes had a purpose so all your hard work is made even more productive,” says Product Manager, Jason Wilk.
All ECHO axes are built in the USA using only American hickory and steel. Each axe is also covered by a limited lifetime warranty. You can find more information on our website at www.echo-usa.com/Products/Hand-Tools/.
